Our Neighborhood

Longborough is Charleston's newest old neighborhood, located on the banks of the Ashley River, just north of Hampton Park and the Citadel. Just minutes from historic downtown Charleston, this exciting community represents a true return to the spirit of the neighborhoods and boroughs that make up the Peninsula. The traditional architecture, tree-lined sidewalks and pedestrian friendly streets reflect the pattern and lifestyle of old Charleston.

We are walking distance to Rutledge Cab Company, Park Café, Leon's Oyster Shop, and Moe’s. A communal neighborhood crabbing dock is also one block away.

Our GPS address is 16 Devereaux Charleston SC. Via I-26, Hwy. 17 North or South:
Enter Lockwood Blvd at Hwy.17 South at the foot of the Ashley River Bridge; Proceed North on Lockwood Blvd. past Brittlebank Park; Continue along Lockwood, curving right at Joe Riley Stadium onto Fishburne; Proceed on Fishburne, taking the first left onto Hagood past The Citadel's Johnson Hagood Stadium; Take a right on Huger; Turn left onto Rutledge and continue to Gordon; Turn left onto Gordon to Tenth; Turn right on Tenth, which brings you straight into the Longborough entrance on the left.
